Specifically for collecting EPA compliant VOC samples, our ISCO 6100 VOC sampler rentals automatically collect up to 24 40 mL sequential samples based on a time schedule or input from an external flow sensor. Samples representative for VOC analysis are provided through the use of a bladder pump instead of the peristaltic pump typically employed by autosamplers. The bladder pump’s design prevents the samples from contacting either the ambient air or the air used to pressurize the pump. The samples are then further prevented from contamination during storage by special sample bottles which are opened, overfilled three times as per EPA requirements, and closed automatically. Like with all of our Isco sampler rentals, our exprienced technicians can preprogram an Isco 6100 specifically for your application.

Field Supplies

Polyethylene (LDPE) tubing is used for the air supply to the bladder pump and is sold in 100 foot rolls.
Teflon tubing is used for the sample line and is sold in 100 foot rolls or by the foot.
Sample bottles are typically purchased from the laboratory. The screw on valve tops are provided with the rental.

Our most advanced and versatile autosampler rental, the fully featured Isco 6700 can be ordered with over 10 different sample bottle configurations, and is capable of any type of sampling routine. The onboard controller stores up to 5 sampling programs each of which can include sampling triggers based on time along with external inputs from a flow sensor, rain gauge, or water quality sonde. Our experienced technicians can help to design and program an autosampler system no matter how complex, leaving nothing to be done in the field besides deploying equipment and pushing the start button.
