Solinst’s model 425 takes samples at a discrete depth without the mixing of water or product from different layers and with neglible disturbance. Excellent for taking representative samples below a product layer or of the product itself, the Solinst model 425 uses a stainless steel sampler that is pressurized using the included handpump. Operation consists of pressurizing the sampler, lowering the sampler to the desired depth, releasing the pressure to fill the sampler, and pressurizing the sampler again before bringing it to the surface. The sample is never pumped through the tubing and the system does not require power or batteries. Solinst model 425 rentals are available with two different sampler sizes.

Bacon bomb samplers can be used to collect samples from the bottom or at discrete depths. These samplers remain sealed until open preventing contamination from other water levels. They can be used to take samples from below a product layer, of the product itself, or at any specific water level. For bottom sampling a simple plunger opens and fills the sampler when it strikes the bottom. For sampling at discrete depths, an additional trigger line is added that can be pulled to open the sampler when it reaches the required depth. Kemmerer samplers are both lightweight and simple to use. Being open on both ends allows the sampler to easily descend to the required depth and ensures that the sampling chamber is flushed while it is lowered. Stoppers on both ends are activated via a metal cylinder, or messenger, that is sent down the line sealing the sampler. After the sampler is closed it can be brought to the surface without contamination from water at higher depths. Our kemmerer sampler rentals are available with a stainless steel body and polyurethane seals for general purpose sampling, or an all Teflon model for trace metals and organics sampling.

These dippers feature long handles making it easy to reach into large tanks or other hard to access areas. Constructed from polyethylene, they can easily handle corrosive liquids and temperatures up to 248°F. Our dippers collect 16 oz samples, can be ordered with 6 or 12 foot handles, and the cup has a molded spout for pouring.
