Disposable Soil Samplers - EPA Method 5035 Compliant
En Core samplers are an innovative and cost effective solution for soil sampling. Each disposable sampler is used for both collecting the sample and storing it during transportation. En Core samplers are constructed from an inert composite polymer and are easily sealed after extraction, immediately becoming an air tight transportation vessel.
Ease of use is one of the En Core Samplers greatest attributes, field personnel are able to be trained on their use in a matter of minutes. To prepare the sampler for use it is attached to the T-Handle by depressing the locking lever and aligning the sampler with the locking pins. When the locking lever is released the locking pins will secure the sampler to the handle. The sampler is then pushed into the soil until the o-ring is centered in the T-Handles viewing hole. After sample extraction, immediately snap the included air tight cap unto the open end of the sampler. The sample is now ready for transport.
Highly accurate soil VOC samples traditionally require on-site weight measurements and preservation chemicals. En Core samplers have revolutionized soil VOC sampling by allowing field personnel to take highly accurate, EPA Method 5035 compliant, samples of any soil type with virtually no handling of the sample and without the need for any preservation chemicals or weighing.
What to Order
En Core samplers come in both 5 and 25 gram versions. The samplers are available below both individually or in cases of 50. Each sampler is disposable and designed for a one time use.
Using an En Core sampler requires the reusable stainless steel T-Handle, which is available below, but can also be rented for an extremely cost effective soil sampling solution.
Also available is the 3′ extension handle for the T-Handle and the extrusion tool for removing the sample at the lab.
