Myron L’s Ultrameter II series consists of the Ultrameter II 4P (conductivity, TDS, resistivity, temperature) and the Ultrameter II 6P (4P plus pH, ORP) meters. Accuracy of ±1% of readings is achieved through advanced four-electrode conductivity cell technology, a high-quality field-replaceable pH/ORP sensor, and microprocessor-based circuitry. Use is as simple as filling the cell cup, pressing a parameter key, and taking the reading. Range selection and temperature compensation are automatic.
A four-digit LCD shares measurement values up to 9999. The Ultrameter II is factor calibrated using NIST traceable solutions. Every Ultrameter II can be supplied with certificates of traceability. Conductivity/TDS conversion ratios can be adjusted when measuring solutions which have not been defined in the microprocessor. Temperature compensation can be adjusted up to 9.99%/°C and it can also be disabled when non-compensated readings are desired.
The Ultrameter II is designed to survive use in the field. It is IP-67/NEMA 6 certified waterproof, buoyant, and immersible in water to 3 feet (1 meter). The Ultrameter II has sufficient memory to record 100 date and time-stamped readings which can be transferred to a PC through a built-in IR port. Settings and data is backed up through a non-volatile microprocessor so nothing is lost when the battery is changed. A single 9V battery powers the Ultrameter II for up to 100 hours of operation (5000 tests) and an automatic shutoff feature preserves battery life.
