Gastec Polytec Tubes
Gastec Polytec tubes are used to quickly check for the presence of multiple gases and their general concentrations with a single tube. Each of the Polytec tubes can identify and provide a semi-quantitative analysis for 9 to 15 different gases simultaneously, providing a cost effective analysis system for unknown gases.
Each Polytec tube contains 1 to 7 reaction layers that respond to gases and their concentrations. The colors of the different reaction layers respond individually to the gases, allowing the user to determine the presence of a specific gas and either the lower limit of its concentration level or a range.
