Gastec solution detector tubes are an easy, and accurate method for determining the amount of trace chemicals in liquids. The tubes are available for a variety of applications and ranges with a cost per test as low as $6.50. Quick and accurate measurements can be taken on site without the need for any other equipment or supplies besides the tube itself.
Taking a measurement with Gastec solution tubes consists simple of breaking off the tube ends and placing the tube in the solution to be measured. Sampling times are typically less then 5 minutes. After the sampling time has passed the measurement can be read directly from the scale on the tube and any temperature or pH corrections applied if necessary.
