RAE Systems’ MiniRAE Lite photoionization detector (PID) is a cost effective handheld VOC monitor which retains essential PID features along with the accuracy and reliability you expect from a MiniRAE. The MiniRAE Lite comes with a 10.6 eV lamp and sensor that features fast 3 second response times, humidity compensation, and a range of 0 to 5,000 ppm. Retaining the high accuracy of the MiniRAE 3000, the MinRAE Lite has a resolution of 0.1 ppm below 999 ppm, and switches to 1 ppm resolution between 999 and 5,000 ppm. The MiniRAE Lite is an ideal low cost of ownership PID for applications that do not require an intrinsically safe instrument.

The MiniRAE Lite includes an auto cleaning sensor and lamp, a strong built-in pump capable of drawing samples up to 100’ vertically or horizontally, a tough and flexible probe, and a loud 95 dB alarm with bright visuals and varied alarms for different alarm conditions. An integrated flashlight allows for easier use in low-light conditions.

Other instruments in RAE Systems’ most recent line of hanheld PID monitors are the MiniRAE 3000, UltraRAE 3000, and the ppbRAE 3000.

Designed for service and use in harsh environments, the MiniRAE Lite features IP-65 housing, easy access to the sensor and lamp, field exchangeable battery packs, large keys, and a removable protective rubber boot. Other hardware features of the MiniRAE Lite include a large graphic LCD display with support for multiple languages. An included rechargeable Lithium-ion battery provides 12 hours of use, and an additional 12 hours can be acheived before recharging by using the included alkaline battery adapter.
