Multiple Gas Monitor (5 Gas)
RAE Systems’ VRAE is a cost effective solution to monitoring up to 5 gases simultaneously. It’s combustible sensor measures in both % LEL and volume and works regardless of Oxygen levels. The remaining for sensor options can consist of O2, CO, H2S, SO2, NO, NO2, Cl2, NH3, HCN, or PH3. With it’s highly versatile configuration options, the VRAE is excellent for many applications such as confined space entry, wastewater treatment, landfill operations, refineries and petrochemical plants, shipyards, and fire departments.
With a rugged frame with RFI (portable radio) interference protection, strong built-in internal sample pump, rigid inlet probe, large alarm-activated backlit LCD display, a durable protective rubber boot, and large keys suitable for gloved hands, the VRAE is an ideal tool for site surveys and leak detection. A 90 dB buzzer with flashing LEDs on the VRAE indicate alarm conditions with variations for different levels, along with STEL and TWA.
Other VRAE features include 48 built-in correction factors for the LEL sensor, optional memory for 16,000 data-points for download to PC (53 hours of sampling from 5 channels at 1 minute intervals), and snap-in rechargeable NiMH or alkaline battery packs. Battery charging is prompted through status and LED indication. The VRAE gas monitor provides up to 10 hours of continuous operation.
