Fixed Combustible Gas Sensor
Utilizing infrared dual detector technology, the FX-IR series line of sensors from Thermo provides readings of combustible gases in either % LEL or ppm. These rugged indoor/outdoor diffusion sensors are available for propane, methane, or hexane. Housed in an aluminum NEMA 4X enclosure, they are both weather and explosion proof. They can operate in almost any environment including oxygen deficient or inert atmospheres and are not affected by exposure to gases over time. The FX-IR sensor is designed for long life and less frequent calibrations. Non intrusive calibration via a magnetic wand eliminates the need to desclasify areas for calibration.
This sensor is compatible with Thermo’s Safe T Net line of controllers, including the Safe T Net 100, Safe T Net 210, Safe T Net 410, and Safe T Net 2000.
