ThermoProbe TL1-R - Intrinsically Safe Laboratory Reference Thermometer

Battery powered and portable, the TL1-R features combines all the features of ThermoProbe's standard TL1-A with reference thermometer accuracy.

Designed for use in applications that require a very high level of accuracy or as a calibration reference thermometer, the TL1-R features all the capabilities of the TL1-A laboratory thermometer combined with even greater accuracy and measurement range.

Equipped with a highly sensitive 200 ohm wirewound platinum sensor and using ThermoProbe's proprietary calibration algorithm, the TL1-R achieves an accuracy of ±0.07°F (±0.04°C) throughout its entire measurement range of -4 to 300°F (-20 to 150°C). Measurements are displayed on an LCD screen with a 0.001° resolution and every TL1-R comes with a 5 point NIST traceable calibration certificate.

Other versions of the TL1 thermometer are also available including the standard TL1-A laboratory thermometer, the TL2 benchtop reference thermometer, and the TL1-W field/lab thermometer with additional features for field use.

Operation of this high precision instrument is as simple as any other electronic thermometer. To use the instrument you simply turn it on and take a measurement. All the features of the TL1-A thermometer are also available through the function button including, maximum, minimum, and average readings. In addition, because of it's high accuracy the TL1-R features an easy to use zero offset function. The thermometer is powered by an easily replaceable battery that provides over 50 hours of operation.

The TL1-R portable reference thermometer is available below in either an 8 or 12 inch lengths and with NIST traceable calibration certificates in degrees fahrenheit or celsius. All thermometers are capable of displaying readings accurately in either measurement.
