Petroleum Gauging Thermometer With Logging
Featuring a traditional design combined with modern electronics and datalogging, the TP5-C is a very useful and affordable petroleum gauging thermometer.
The TP5-C has been discountinued. The suggested replacement is the TP9
Designed for applications that require logging and averaging, or for users who do not prefer the reel based thermometers, the TP5-C is an electronic gauging thermometer that features the traditional enclosure design of the TP5 combined with modern electronics and features. Like the TP7, the TP5-C is useful for many different temperature measurement applications in tanks, is intrincally safe, and is constructed from highly resiliant materials for use with all petrochemicals and many other liquids. Even with the addition of logging and averaging functions the TP5-C remains easy to use, just turn it on and measure. Four different probe options are available allowing the TP5-C to be configured specifically for your application.
The TP5-C has a wide measurement range of -40 to 400 °F (-40 to 204 °C) and achieves an accuracy of ±0.2°F (±0.1°C) at less then 200°F. Switching between degrees fahrenheit and degress celsuis is accomplished quickly through the intuitive user interface. High accuracy and stability are acheived through precision electronics and every TP5-C comes with a 4 point NIST traceable calibration certificate.
An extended feature set allows logging of up to 10 parameters and averaging. The LCD display has a resolution of 0.1°, indicates when the measurement is stable, and features an automatic backlight. Additionally up to a 4 point user calibration is possible using the intuitive menu system. However, none of these features interfere with usability during standard use and the TP5-C maintains the simple 'Turn it on and measure' operation.
