The pH100 handheld pH meter from YSI’s line of accurate, durable, and economical instruments features detachable cable and probe assemblies with multiple options providing a versatile and cost effective solution for pH or mV and temperature measurements.

YSI EcoSense line of instruments also includes the pH10A pen style pH meter, ORP15A pen style ORP meter, DO200 handheld DO meter, EC300 handheld conductivity meter, and the 9300/9500 photometer.

Calibration consists of a simple 2 point process with automatic buffer recognition and the ability to display the efficiency of the electrode. Temperature compensation can be performed automatically when used with a combination probe or a seperate temperature probe. Manual temperature compensation is also possible in the absence of a temperature probe. The EcoSense pH100 is very easy to use due to its large LCD display and autolock measurement mode which automatically locks measurements as soon as they become stabile providing consistent results.

The EcoSense pH100 has a pH range of -2 to 16 at a resolution of 0.01 with an accuracy of 0.1 %. When a mV probe is connected the range is -1999 to 1250 mV with a resolution of 1 mV and a 0.1 % accuracy. Temperature readings are accurate to within 0.6 °F. Combination probes, containing both a pH or mV probe and a temperature probe, are waterproof for field use and available in lengths of 1 or 4 meters. Lab cables for pH or mV come in 1 meter lengths. The peircing pH probe features a sharp tip and is useful in many applications like measurements in cheese or grapes. A flat glass probe is also available for taking measurements in soil slurries. All non combination probes require a seperate temperature probe, which can be connected to the instrument simultaneously, for automatic temperature compensation. Alternatively, temperature readings can be manually entered into the pH100. All probes are single junction with the exception of the peircing and flat glass probes which are double junction.

The pH100 features a splash proof IP65 rated enclosure and comes in kits including combination probes and a carrying case or as just the instrument without probes. Calibration data is stored in non volatile memory removing the need to recalibrate after battery replacement. The instrument is powered from a single 9V alkaline battery.
