The redesigned Microdust Pro is the latest real time dust monitor from Casella and includes various features appearing for the first time on a handheld dust monitor. The large LCD color screen provides for an easy to use yet powerful interface that allows the simultaneous display of real time readings, maximum readings, minimum readings, averages, and various graphs. Field calibration and zeroing is never an issue because every instrument includes a unique calibration insert that allows onsite verification of the factory calibration insuring your results are accurate. In addition, the Microdust Pro even allows the user to calculate specific correlation factors for specific dust types to insure very high levels of accuracy in real time. Datalogging and compatibility with Casella’s Insight software is also a standard feature of every Microdust Pro dust monitor

Using Casella’s advanced laser diode forward light scattering sensor, the Microdust Pro is able to detect concentrations between 0.001 mg/m³ and 25,000 mg/m³, the widest range of any handheld dust monitor. Its sensor probe is also detachable for use in duct work or at the source of the dust. The Microdust Pro can also be used as an active sampler in conjuction with a sampling pump. When used as an active sampler various accessories are available for gravimetric calibration or size selective measurements.

The Microdust Pro is housed in a rugged enclosure and is designed to withstand the harshest job sites. 3 AA alkaline batteries can power the instrument for up to 13 hours, while external 12 VDC or USB can power the unit indefinitely for unattended monitoring. All Microdust Pro instruments include datalogging with non volatile memory for 86,000 data points.

Casella Microdust Pro Ordering Instructions

The Microdust Pro can be ordered in a standard kit that includes everything you need for passive non size selective sampling.

Accessories can be purchased seperately for use with the standard kit to provide PM10, PM2.5, or respirable size selective sampling. *Size selective sampling requires a separate air sampling pump (Apex2 or similiar), 206102B size selective adapter, and applicable PUF filters.

In addition to the standard kit a dust detective kit is also available that includes an air sampling pump, a rugged enclosure with a built in size selective attachment, and all the required accessories for size selective active sampling.
