Gastec injection detection tubes are the most economical method to measure high concentrations of either Carbon Dioxide or Propane. They do not require a sampling pump and can be purchased in complete kits, or as individual components.
Gastec injection tubes are the least expensive method for measuring high concentrations of Carbon Dioxide or Propane. They do not require a sampling pump and Everything needed is included in the kit. with a cost of only $5.65/test for Carbon Dioxide and $5.74/test for Propane including all required equipment, no other detection system is as economical. Under most conditions injection detection tubes do not require any corrections for temperature or humidity and provide a minimum accuracy of 25% of the reading. Like all Gastec tubes, injection detection tubes feature a direct read printed scale, are intrinsically safe, and ready to use anywhere.
Injection detection tubes work by drawing a 20 ml sample into a syringe and then pushing the sample through the tube over a specified period of time (20 seconds for Carbon Dioxide and 2 minutes for Propane). Included in every kit is a special syringe marked to help push the sample through at the specified rate, a tube tip breaker, and instructions along with enough tubes for 20 tests.
