Horiba’s OCMA-550 oil content analyzer is compact, easy-to-use, and quickly delivers accurate measurements in the field or in the lab. It efficiently measures oil on any industrial surface, checks for residual oil on cleaned semiconductor parts, and measures levels of oil in soil or water for environmental applications. The OCMA-550 is extremely easy to use; Simply inject extract from your sample which has been dissolved in Horiba’s S-316 solvent into a measuring cell and press one button. Operation can be simplified through use of a PC.

Once plugged in the OCMA-550 is on standby. Begin the measuring process by pressing the measure button. The OCMA-550 supports three measurement units for readout on the backlit LCD, including mg/kg for oil in soil, mg/l for oil in water, and absorbency (‘Abs.’) for the absorbency of oil. A stable readout feature waits to present requested readings until they have stabilized.

An easy-to-maintain removable cell helps to avoid messy transfer of sample. Self-monitoring capabilities enable the OCMA-550 to notify in the event of measurement irregularities, electrical malfunction, and deterioration of parts. A record of each data set along with time and date is retained by the OCMA-550 for easy record keeping. The OCMA-550 includes a USB prott. By connecting a computer you can access measurement data and remotely control the oil content analyzer.
