Transportable SF6 Leak Detector
Ion Science’s SF6 P1:P is a portable handgun SF6 gas leak detector featuring fast and accurate. High-sensitivity detection of low-level SF6 leaks. The SF6 P1:P uses a non-radioactive source, does not require argon or other pressurized gases, and is unaffected by large leaks and 100% SF6 allowing for no delay between searches.
SF6 LeakCheck P1:p ensures incredibly fast searching at ultra sensitive levels. The smallest of leaks can be detected and located quickly with a minimum detection level of 1 x 10-7ml/sec or optional 1x10-8ml/sec.
Designed for SF6 gas leak testing and measurement in high voltage electrical SF6 switchgear, this instrument also detects other gases with a high affinity for electrons, such as refrigerant R12. The LeakCheck P1:p is unaffected by exposure to large leaks. Even after saturation or exposure to leaks of 100%, clear down remains below one second. The SF6 gas leak detector benefits from using a non-radioactive source, eliminating registration, storage and transportation concerns associated with traditional radioactive ECD SF6 gas leak detectors.
Additional features of the SF6 gas leak detector include data-logging, alarms (audible and visual), and a robust portable case. No consumables, such as Argon, are required, reducing cost of operation. No items in the handgun or console require maintenance or service.
