Solinst’s LTC Levelogger Edge combines all the features of the Levelogger Edge with conductivity measurements. This cost effective 3 in 1 water level and conductivity datalogger is compatible with all Levelogger deployments, software, and accessories. Perfect for deployments where salt water intrusion or soil salinity is a concern. Automatic temperature compensation operates over a range of 32–122 °F for water level and conductivity. Data can be viewed in real time when using a direct read deployment.

For applications that do not require conductivity measurements, the Levelogger Junior Edge is a very economical water level datalogger, and the Levelogger Edge provides even greater accuracy, advanced logging modes, and higher depth ranges.

Up to 27,000 level, conductivity, and temperature readings can be stored in the LTC Levelogger Edge’s memory, with all the features and data integrity of the Levelogger Edge. The 4 electrode platinum conductivity sensor has a range of 0 to 100,000 µS/cm (accurate to within 2% ±1% > 30,000 μS/cm; ±2% 500–30,000 μS/cm; ±30μS < 500 μS/cm). The conductivity sensor features autoranging and is easy to calibrate in the field.

In addition to the PC software included with every levelogger communication kit, a handheld instrument, the Solinst Leveloader, is also available to view data.

Like the Levelogger Edge, the LTC Levelogger Edge is constructed from stainless steel and is water tight. The addition of the conductivity sensor increases only the length of the levelogger maintaining it’s small dimensions (7/8″ x 7.5″) and 8 year battery life (1 reading every 5 minutes). The LTC Levelogger Edge, as a 3 in 1 datalogger, is a low cost solution to many applications concerned with salinity levels.

The Barologger Edge can provide atmospheric pressure compensation to any Levelogger deployment. A Rainlogger can also be used to add precipitation data.

Solinst Levelogger 5 LTC Ordering Instructions

A complete LTC Levelogger Edge water level datalogger system consists of a levelogger, a deployment solution, and a communications kit. Calibration of the conductivity sensor requires conducitivity solution, which is also available below.

For each Levelogger you wish to deploy you must choose either a direct read cable or a suspension wire of appropriate length as a deployment solution. Direct read cables allow you to download data from the Levelogger without removing it, suspension wires require you to bring it to the surface.

Communication kits are available in both USB and RS232 serial versions and include everything you need to program and download data from any number of leveloggers. A basic communication kit is required for programming and downloading data from the levelogger, direct read communication kits contain everything in the standard kit and a cable for connecting to direct read deployments.
