ThermoProbe TL1-W—Intrinsically Safe Laboratory/Field Thermometer

Enhanced for field use, the TL1-W includes all the features and accuracy of the TL1-A combined with increased durability, battery life, and a backlit display.

Although perfectly at home in the lab, the TL1-W is a modified version of the TL1-A with enhanced features for field use. Like the TL1-A, the TL1-W is intrinsically safe, accurate, and features a wide measurement range that replaces an entire set of mercury thermometers. It is also available in lengths of 8 or 12 inches.

The TL1-W has the same accuracy and repeatability as ThermoProbe’s standard laboratory thermometers. It’s precision sensor and electronics allow for readings within ±0.1°F (0.06°C) through its entire range of 14 to 320°F (-10 to 160°C). 4 point NIST traceable calibration certificates are included with every thermometer and can be ordered in degrees celsius or fahrenheit.

Other versions of the TL1 thermometer are also available including the TL1-R reference thermometer with increased accuracy and the standard TL1-A laboratory thermometer.

In addition to all the usability features standard to ThermoProbe thermometers like minimum, maximum, and average readings, the TL1-W also features a backlit LCD display for easier viewing in low light conditions, larger batteries for longer runtimes, and a ruggedized enclosure for the electronics. The TL1-W is powered by two AAA alkaline batteries that provide several hundered hours of runtime.

The TL1-W field thermometer is available below in lengths of 8 or 12 inches and with NIST traceable calibration certificates in degrees fahrenheit or celsius. All thermometers are capable of displaying readings accurately in either measurement.
