Petroleum Gauging Thermometer With Logging
Featuring a traditional design combined with modern electronics and datalogging, the TP9 is a very useful and affordable petroleum gauging thermometer.
Designed to provide additional functions like logging and averaging while still maintaining Thermoprobe's ease of use for direct temperature measurements, the TP9 features all the abilities of it's predecessor, the TP5-C, in an upgraded package. Four different application specific probes are available, and like all Thermoprobe gauging thermometers, the TP9 is intrisically safe and constructed from highly resistant materials.
The TP9 features a wide measurement range of -40 to 400 °F (-40 to 204 °C) and can measure at an accuracy of up to ±0.2°F (±0.1°C). The LCD display features icons indicating whether the temperature of the current reading is increasing, decreasing, or has stabilized. Like all of Thermoprobe's thermometers, the TP9 is highly accurate and comes with a 4 point NIST traceable calibration certificate. The TP9 also features a logging function that allows the user to log stabilized measurements for review or documentation at a later date.
the TP9 is the suggested replacement for the TP5-C.
Users can also perform custom calibrations or easily switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit at the push of a button. Easily replaceable AA batteries provide up to 200 hours of use.
ThermoProbe TP9 Ordering Instructions
The TP-9 is available with cable lengths from 12 to 110 feet with markings every 5 feet or from 5 to 30 meters with markings every meter. Every TP-9 includes a 4 point NIST traceable calibration certifice in either degrees fahrenheit or celsius, but all models are capable of displaying both measurements. Any combination of configuration options are possible, if you do not see the specific configuration you require below please call for availability.
Various models are listed below in all available cable lengths and probe options. 4 different probes are available:
Standard Probe - 5/8" diameter
This is the most popular probe and is used for most applications.
It features a 0.25 lbs (110g) weight.
Extended Probe - 5/8" diameter
A heavier version of the standard probe, the extended probe weighs 0.5 lbs (230g)
while maintaining the same diameter as the standard probe.
Railcar Probe - 1/4" diameter
Designed specifically to fit in small diameter gauging tubes.
Asphalt Probe - 1.5" diameter
The heaviest probe at 0.75 lbs (340g).
Designed for use with high viscosity petrochemicals including asphalt and sulfur.
