YSI’s economical EcoSense 9300 and 9500 photometers allow the measurement of over 100 different parameters in the field with some reagents costing as little as $0.10 per test depending upon the parameter being measured. Like all the instruments in the EcoSense line, the 9300 or 9500 photometers are accurate, durable, and offer both a low initial cost and cost of ownership. Both instruments feature a large, backlit, graphic LCD display with on screen instructions in multiple languages to guide the user through the process for every type of test.

The EcoSense 9300 and 9500 feature a floating, durable, and waterproof IP67 rated enclosure. Battery power is provided by 3 AA alkaline batteries with the option to power the unit from the USB port on the 9500. The unique sample tube holder can automatically accommodate the various different size sample tubes, and for convience the four most recently used tests are always positioned at the top of the list.

The EcoSense 9500 adds the capability to use a dilution factor, perform user designed tests, store up to 500 readings with an ID and date/time stamp, and has a USB PC connection for either power or the transfer of data. The dilution factor option is useful when a sample’s concentration levels are outside of the test’s range. By diluting the sample the user can bring the concentration within range of the test and by entering the dilution factor into the 9500 the actual value before dilution can be stored.

The EcoSense 9300 and 9500 photometers are available below in complete kits that include all required accessories and a hard sided carrying case. Reagent starter kits are required for each particular test you wish to perform.

Reagent starter kits, replacement reagents, and general photometer accessories are all listed below. Unless otherwise noted all reagent starter kits come with any required accessories, instructions, and enough reagents for 50 tests. Replacement reagent packs are available for use with the starter kits and generally contain enough reagents for 250 additional tests.
