The latest in RAE systems line of QRAE confined space meters, the QRAE 3 combines the features of the QRAE II with the added versatility of SO2 and HCN sensor options in an overall upgraded package. The QRAE 3 comes in both pumped and diffusion models and can be configured with up to 4 sensors including LEL, O2, H2S, CO, SO2, or HCN. Every QRAE includes datalogging and a rechargeable Lithium Ion Battery.

The QRAE 3 is the suggested replacement for the QRAE II and the QRAE.

The QRAE 3′s large graphical display shows readings from all sensors simultaneously and is designed to be easy to see in almost any conditions. Alarms are handled by a buzzer, flashing LED lights, and vibration. The datalogging memory has been updated over the QRAE II with enough storage for up to 3 months of data at 1 minute intervals. Every aspect of the datalogging and alarms are adjustable by the user. The on screen display easily guides the user though operation with only 2 buttons.

If you are looking for a confined space meter that also includes a PID, the MultiRAE series comes in many different sensor configurations and offers mulitple PID options. If you only require more choices in toxic sensors, the QRAE Plus is still available.

The redesigned enclosure of the QRAE 3 features a strong impact proof design ready to handle the abuse of field work. All models are both dust and water resistant with the pumped models getting an IP65 rating and diffusion models an IP67. The QRAE 3 is available both with and without RAE System’s wireless technology.

RAE QRAE 3 Ordering Instructions

The QRAE 3 comes in four different models depending on which sensors you want or will want to use with the instrument. Sensor types in the QRAE 3 are not interchangeable. The choices are the standard 4 gas LEL/O2/H2S/CO, LEL/O2/SO2/CO, LEL/O2/H2S/CO, or LEL/HCN/CO. Each version can be ordered as a pumped or diffusion model and must have at least 2 of the sensor options installed.

A confined space kit with various accessories is also available, along with calibration gas and AutoRAE calibration stations.
