Solinst Model 102
Coaxial Water Level Meter
Use Solinst Model 102 Water Level Meter to measure groundwater levels, especially in small diameter piezometers and tubes, or where a flexible cable is needed to navigate around an in-well pump. Powered by 9V battery.
The model 102 coaxial cable water level meter now features laser markings for increased precision and durability.
The Model 102 Coaxial Water Level Meter is designed to measure groundwater levels. Its design is especially well suited for small diameter piezometers and tubes, or in applications where a flexible cable is necessary to maneuver around an in-well pump. The 102 Water Level Meter is powered by an easily swapped 9V battery. When the probe, one of two available, enters the water an electric signal transmits back to the reel where a light and audible buzzer is activated.
The Model 102 water level meter is available with two different probes. The P4 probe, 0.157 x 1.5” (4 mm x 38 mm), 0.35 oz (0 g), is ideal for accessing narrow diameters. The P10 probe, 3/8” x 2.75” (10 mm x 70 mm), 6.14 oz (174 g), features 10 stainless steel weights and is useful for greater depths. Both feature Teflon tips with a recessed design to minimize false signals in cascading water.
In addition to your choice of probe, choose between imperial or metric laser-marked coaxial cable, marked every 1/100 feet or each millimeter, when selecting a Model 102 Coaxial Water Level Meter. The cable is designed to remain flexible, hang straight when in the well, reel smoothly, and features a jacket constructed of heavy-duty polyethylene. Flexibility is aided by a tinned copper-braided shield and strength by a stainless steel central conductor. It is also easy to repair and splice.
