Personal Single Gas Monitors
The 01 series of personal single gas detectors from RKI provide an accurate and cost effective means of providing personal protection in hazardous areas without bulky and expensive equipment. The 01 series consists of four models of gas detectors, the OX-01 for monitoring oxygen deficiency, the CO-01 for Carbon Monoxide, The HS-01 for Hydrogen Sulfide, and the GP-01 for combustible gas. With the exception of the GP-01, all of the 01 series personal gas detectors can operate for over 3000 hours with just 2 AAA alkaline batteries. Impressive considering the sensor type, the GP-01 has a 16 hour runtime on alkaline batteries and can be outfitted with an optional rechargeable NiCD battery pack that can operate for 8 hours. 01 series personal gas detectors measure only 1.4″ wide by 4.1″ tall and 0.8″ deep and are easily clipped to a belt or shirt pocket with the included belt and alligator clipes. All 01 series personal gas detectors are intrinsically safe, and they can operate in environments from -4 °F up to 122 °F (The HS-01S can operate in temperatures as low as -40 °F) with a relative humidity up to 90%.
01 series personal gas detectors feature inexpensive field replaceable sensors with a two year lifespan, and a seven segment LCD display. There are multiple alarm levels, a user adjustable 1st and 2nd alarm, STEL, TWA, OVER, and trouble alarms for the sensor, battery, or calibration errors. The Oxygen range is 0 to 40% with a resolution of 1% and an accuracy of 0.5%. CO is measured from 0 to 500 ppm with a resolution of 1 ppm and an accuracy of 5 ppm. The Hydrogen Sulfide range is 0 to 100 ppm with a resolution of 0.5 ppm and an accuracy of 1.5 ppm. Combustible gas measurements can range from 0 to 100 % LEL in 1% increments with an accuracy of 5% LEL.
