Advanced Multiple Threat Monitor

The latest MultiRAE multiple gas monitor from RAE systems now comes in three versions all capable of being equipped for detection of up to 6 threats. With options like 25 different toxic sensors, 3 different PID sensors, a 9.8 eV lamp option, both combustible and IR LEL sensors, an IR CO2 sensor, a gamma radiation detector, wireless capability, and pumped or diffusion models, the MultiRAE series features a configuration for any task.

The instruments in the new MultiRAE series are the recommended replacements for the MultiRAE Plus.

All multiple threat monitors in the MultiRAE line feature datalogging with enough storage to log continously for 6 months, and user adjustable logging intervals from 1 to 3,600 seconds. An internal rechargeable lithium ion battery provides every MultiRAE with a 12 hour runtime and a recharge time of less then 6 hours. A large backlit display, featuring an automatic ‘flip' feature, allows monitoring of all sensors simultaneously. All MultiRAE’s are dust tight and waterproof with IP65 or IP67 (MultiRAE Lite diffusion version, or MultiRAE Pro when off) rated enclosures, and are intrinsically safe. An innovative compartmentalized enclosure allows easy replacement of both the battery and sensors in the field. New smart sensors store their own calibration data removing the need to recalibrate when swapping out sensors.

If you need to use both a PID and an IR CO2 sensor simultaneously, the MultiRAE IR is still available.

Alarm conditions are indicated by a 95 dB multi tone alarm, bright red LED indicators, and on screen notifications. Wireless versions provide increased safety in the workplace by providing alarm conditions, real time readings, and man down alarms from any location.

What to Order

The MultiRAE Series of multiple threat detectors come in three different versions. All available in multiple configurations, with or without accessories, calibration kits, or wireless.

MultiRAE Lite

The MultiRAE Lite can be configured with a total of 5 sensors using any combination of 25 different electrochemical sensors, either a combustible or IR LEL sensor, an IR CO2 sensor, and the standard 1 to 1000 ppm PID. MultiRAE lites can be ordered as either a pumped or diffusion version (MultiRAE Lites with a PID must be configured with a pump). The MultiRAE Lite is a very cost effective and versatile gas monitor.

MultiRAE

The standard version in RAE System’s new line of MultiRAE multiple threat detectors, The MultiRAE is capable of all the configurations availlable with the MultiRAE Lite but features a high end PID sensor with an increased range of 1 to 5000 ppm, a greater 0.1 ppm resolution, and a 9.8 eV lamp option. The standard MultiRAE comes in pumped versions only and is the recommended replacement for the MultiRAE Plus.

MultiRAE Pro

Adding gamma radiation detection capability to gas monitoring for the first time, the MultiRAE Pro is capable of using every sensor available in the latest line of MultiRAE gas monitors. Including a ppb PID with a range of 0.01 to 2000 ppm (at a resolution of 10 ppb), and the gamma radiation sensor. The MultiRAE Pro features a possible sensor combination for almost every gas monitoring situation, and still remains configurable in the field.
