Multiple Gas Monitor (3 Gas Plus IR CO2 and PID)
The MultiRAE IR combines a CO2 sensor, high end PID, LEL sensor, O2 sensor, and one of 9 different toxic gas sensors. A very versatile monitor, the MultiRAE IR can replace a wide range of detectors saving money on training and maintenance. The nondispersive infrared CO2 sensor has a range of 0 to 20,000 ppm at a resolution of 10 ppm providing the added CO2 measurement capabilities required for indoor air quality, the food industry, hospitals, and respirable air testing. Like the MultiRAE Plus, the high end PID sensor has a range of 0 to 2,000 ppm and a resolution of .1 ppm and 60 built in correction factors. Along with the combustible LEL sensor and O2 sensor, one toxic sensor option is also available from the following gases: CO, Cl2, H2S, HCN, NH2, NO, NO2, PH2, and SO2. Sensors and the battery are easily accessible in the field for quick reconfigurations and multiple tasks like a hand held sniffer, area monitor, or a personal monitor.
If the simultaneous use of a PID and an IR CO2 sensor is not required, new MultiRAE’s, now capable of monitoring up to 6 threats, are available.
As with all MultiRAE’s, the MultiRAE IR is fully featured and comes with standard options like a strong internal pump, a rechargeable lithium ion battery, and datalogging. Alarms are designed to be noticed in any situation and the levels are user configurable and available for low, high, TWA, and STEL settings.
The MultiRAE IR is designed for harsh environments and can run for up to 12 hours from a single charge of its internal battery. Extended run times can be achieved by using the included alkaline battery adapter. RAE Systems offers a lifetime warranty on all non consumable components.
