Area Dust Monitor

The Thermo ADR1500 area dust monitor is a complete solution for continuous monitoring of airborne aerosols and dust particles. Featuring the same technology used in the PDR-1500 personal dust monitor, The ADR1500 offers a range of PM1 to PM10 and various cut points with optional cyclone accessories. Results are displayed in real time with an accuracy of 5% at a resolution of .1 ug/m3, and logged for later analysis via a USB connection. Using the principles of volumetric flow and compensation for environmental variables, the ADR1500 area dust monitor provides precise particle cut off points and accurate sample volumes. Real time remote telemetry options are available using the RS232 connection, an analog output (standard 4–20 mA or 0–2 V), or a digital output containing time stamped concentration, flow, temperature, relative humidity, and barometric pressure readings. Alarm averaging can be performed in two modes, real time (1 to 60 seconds), or STEL (15 minutes). In addition to the built in beacon, an alarm output is also provided

The Thermo ADR1500 is rugged and ready for unattended monitoring in a variety of environmental conditions. The IP65 rated enclosure is weatherproof and with the built in heater the instrument can operate in temperatures ranging from 14 to 122 °F with relative humidity ranging from 10 to 95%. The ADR1500 features flexible power supply capabilities, operating from AC power, an external DC source (solar panels), or an internal battery which can provide run times in excess of 24 hours. A handle provides easy transportation, and the unit can be mounted on walls, poles, or tripods.
