Schonstedt’s GA-92XT magnetic locator is unmatched for accuracy, reliability, and ease of use. Backed by an impressive seven year warranty, the GA-92XT is ultra portable, innovative, and can be operated with only one hand. An included belt holster allows you to carry the instrument while keeping both hands free. It can detect ferromagnetic objects up to sixteen feet underground.
The GA-92XT comes in two different models. The GA-92XTi’s LCD display features gain, battery level, signal strength, and polarity display. The GA-92XTd’s display shows gain and battery life. Both models can operate for 24 total hours of intermittant use with a single 9V battery, and provide an audio output. Optional headsets are also available.
This magnetic locator can use regular alkaline 9v batteries. However, the GA-92XT is designed for lithium 9V batteries. Schonstedt includes one with the instrument, and recommends the continued use of them for increased sensitivity.
